Paws and Claws, Retriever and Multi-Cat Pet Food Recall
On November 14, Tractor Supply Company was notified by our vendor, TFP Nutrition, that it had issued a voluntary recall of Retriever dry dog food and Paws and Claws and Multi-Cat dry cat food due to potential Salmonella contamination. The recall pertains only to products sold in selected Tractor Supply and Petsense by Tractor Supply stores in 14 states. We immediately took action to ensure these products are not available, including initiating a “stop sale.” We are communicating closely with the affected stores to ensure the posting of any required notices and compliance with product disposition requirements.

This recall only pertains to products sold with the above lot codes in selected Tractor Supply stores and Petsense by Tractor Supply stores in the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.
If you have purchased this product with a lot code that falls in the range above, please do the following:
- Stop use immediately.
- Dispose of the product in a way that children, pets and wildlife cannot access.
- If you have come into contact with the product, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water.
- Wash all food bowls, cups, utensils and storage containers that have come into contact with the product with soap and hot water.
- To obtain a refund or replacement product, please visit your local Tractor Supply or Petsense by Tractor Supply store.

Mid America Pet Food has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of all Victor dry dog and cat food with Best By Dates before 10/31/24 due to potential Salmonella contamination.
Customers who have purchased this product should stop use immediately, dispose of the product, and wash anything that has come into contact with the product with hot water and soap. Customers should visit their local Tractor Supply or Petsense by Tractor Supply for a full refund or replacement product.
