  • Keep seed bed moist to enhance germination

  • Water lightly (don't saturate) and water at least once daily until new grass is 2 inches tall

  • Water new grass regularly to keep roots moist

  • Don't mow until new grass is 3 inches tall

  • Cut and maintain at 2.5 inches

  • Keep mower blades sharp to avoid tearing

     

  • Use a starter fertilizer during germination

  • Fertilize lawn in the Spring & Fall

  • Don't use a weed control product until grass is established (3 mowings or approximately 45 days)
