Employees and Job Applicants. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information we collect from employees, contractors, job applicants, owners, directors or officers of the Tractor Supply. If you are applying for a job with us, please see our Applicant Privacy Policy.
Vendors, Suppliers and Business Customers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the personal information we collect from employees or representatives of our existing and prospective business clients, suppliers, service providers, agents, consultants, advisors, business partners, investors, or other individuals acting in a commercial context. 2. Personal Information We Collect
We collect certain personal information about you and your use of our Services, including your interaction with our Sites and Apps, or when you visit and make a purchase in our Stores. The definition of personal information (used interchangeably with “personal data”) depends on the applicable law based on your physical location or state residency. a) To Operate and Administer Our Services. We may use your personal information to provide you with the Services that you request, such as creating and managing your user accounts, administrating Neighbor’s Club Reward Program, processing and completing purchases, returns, and similar transactions, managing Replacement Parts Portal accounts and transactions, and processing your rentals.
b) To Provide Customer Support or Respond to You. We collect any information that you provide to us when you contact us to respond to your inquiries and to fulfill your requests. Without your personal information, we cannot respond to you or ensure your continued use and satisfaction of the Services.
c) To Provide You with Service-Related Communications. We may send you administrative and account-related information to you, for example, privacy policy and terms updates, security updates, confirmations of your account actions or transactions, or other relevant transaction-related information. Service-related communications are not promotional in nature. You may not be able to unsubscribe from certain service-related communications, otherwise you may miss important developments relating to your account or the Services.
d) To Provide Marketing Communications (e.g., SMS, Email). Subject to your marketing preferences, we may send you special discounts and offers, newsletters or marketing communications we believe may interest you, for our own products and services. When you no longer wish to receive these marketing messages from us, you can opt out at any time by unsubscribing or following the instructions contained within such messages. e) To Personalize Your Experience. We may process your personal information to personalizing your experience on the Services by presenting products and offers tailored to you. We may use such information to enable you to interact with our Services more easily across devices, or to recommend more relevant content to you. For example, when you enable the social sharing functionalities of your social media account(s) by interacting with our content on or through third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications, we may use this information to personalize your experience on our Services and on the third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications.
f) To Research and Develop Our Services. We may process your personal information and derive analytical and statistical data to better understand the way you use and interact with our Services, including by carrying out data analysis, audits, fraud monitoring and prevention, internal quality assurance, developing new products, enhancing, improving or modifying our Services, identifying usage trends, auditing use and functionality of our Services, determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and operating and expanding our business activities.
g) To Administer Promotional Events. When you participate in promotions, we may process your personal information to administer such activities (each of which may have additional rules and could contain additional information about how we process your personal information).

4. How We May Disclose Your Personal Information

b) Vendors and Service Providers. We may disclose personal information to vendors, service providers, contractors, professional advisors, and other entities that need this information to provide services to us, such as: assisting us in e-commerce operations; managing a database of customer information; hosting the Sites; designing and/or operating the Sites’ features; tracking the Sites’ activities and analytics; enabling us to send you special offers or perform other administrative services; delivery and shipping; operating our Customer Solutions Centers; allowing you to participate in live chat on the Site; and other services designed to assist us in maximizing our business potential. These service providers may have access to or process your personal information only for the purpose of providing services to us.
c) Business Partners, Sponsors, and Other Third Parties. We may disclose your personal information to business partners, co-sponsors of promotions, and other third parties in order to provide you with Services that may interest you. For example, we may co-sponsor promotions, sweepstakes, or other events with a third party and may share your personal information in connection with these events. If you provide additional information to any of these third parties, such information provided to these third parties will be subject to each third party's privacy practices and policies.
d) Analytics and Interest-based Advertising Partners. We use third-party analytics, advertising, and marketing providers to collect information about your use of the Sites, see the overall patterns of usage on the Sites, deliver advertisements to your social media account based on email addresses, optimize ad performance, and determine whether our advertising is effective. Where permitted by applicable law, we may share your personal information with marketing and advertising partners for targeted advertising purposes, such as matching custom audience or creating lookalike audience on social media or other marketing platforms, so that we can better understand which of our Services may be of interest to you, market our Services to you, and to provide us information necessary to improve our Services. e) Third-party Content Providers. The Sites may contain content that is supplied by third parties, and those third parties may collect personal information when pages from the Sites are served to you. In addition, we may provide links on the Sites to facilitate sending a communication from the Site. For example, we may use third parties to facilitate emails, Tweets, or Facebook postings. These third parties may retain any information used or provided in any such communications or activities, and these third parties’ practices are not subject to our Privacy Policy. f) Credit Card Issuers. As described above, if you apply for a TSC credit card at one of our Stores, we may provide the information on your application to the credit card issuer to fulfill your request.
g) As Necessary to Comply with Our Legal Obligations. We may disclose your personal information law enforcement authorities, government or public agencies or officials, regulators, and/or to any other person or entity having appropriate legal authority or justification for receipt of your information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary or appropriate to: (i) protect or defend the rights, safety or property of Tractor Supply or third parties (including through the enforcement of this Privacy Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and other applicable agreements and policies); or (ii) comply with legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., pursuant to law enforcement inquiries, subpoenas, or court orders).
h) As Part of a Corporate Transaction. We also reserve the right to disclose and transfer all such information: (i) to a subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of the Sites and/or our Stores; or (ii) in connection with a merger, consolidation, restructuring, the sale of substantially all our interests and/or assets, or other corporate change, including during the course of any due diligence process.

c) Right to Delete. Under certain circumstances, you may have the right to request that we delete the personal information that we hold about you. This right is not absolute, and we may refuse your right to delete if it is reasonably necessary for us to provide a service requested by you; to perform a contract between us; to maintain functionality and ensure security of our systems; to enable solely expected internal uses of your personal information; to exercise a right provided by law; to comply with a legal obligation, or if there are compelling legitimate grounds for keeping your personal information.

Submitting a Request to Exercise Your Privacy Rights

Opting-Out of Sales, Sharing and Targeted Advertising
You can exercise your right to opt-out of sales and targeted advertising by clicking the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the website footer and following the directions in the Your Privacy Choices pop-up screen regarding how to opt-out of sales, sharing and targeted advertising. If you previously opted-out and wish to opt-in, you can use the options identified above to change your preferences.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana or Texas, you may also opt-out of sharing and sales via cookies by using an opt-out preference signal. The Global Privacy Control signal is currently the only opt-out preference signal we can recognize. You can visit the Global Privacy Control official site at https://globalprivacycontrol.org/#about to learn how to configure your device to send such signals. We will honor and process the opt-out preference signal in a frictionless manner.
Please note that your opt-out choice will only apply to your use of our Sites through the current browser or device you are using and only so long as that browser’s cookies are not erased. Identity Verification
To protect your privacy, we must be able to verify your identity to confirm that the rights request came from you. We may contact you by phone or e-mail to verify your request before we can process your request to exercise certain privacy rights. Depending on your request, we will ask for information such as your name, address, an e-mail address or a phone number you have used with us. For certain requests, we may also ask you to provide details about your most recent purchases.
Request Cadence
Depending on your state of residence, applicable law may limit how many times per year you may submit a Right to Know/Access. We may charge a reasonable fee for multiple requests in the same 12-month period, as permitted by law.
Authorized Agents
In certain states you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf to access or delete your personal information. To do so, you must: (1) provide that authorized agent written and signed permission to submit such request; and (2) verify your own identity directly with us. Please note, we may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy in the interactive world. Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of majority in the applicable jurisdictions, which includes for clarification, that our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. Therefore, we do not knowingly process Personal Information from individuals under 18 years old.. If you are under 18 years of age, you should not use the Sites and should not send any information about yourself to us through the Sites.
If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child has provided us with information without your consent, please contact us at privacy@tractorsupply.com, and we will take reasonable steps to ensure that such information is deleted from our databases in accordance with applicable law.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect and secure your personal information from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, or destruction. However, no information system can be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information. Moreover, we are not responsible for the security of information that you transmit to the Sites over networks that we do not control, including the Internet and wireless networks.
You should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via our Services or when you communicate with us through email, SMS/texts, chat, or other modes of communication. In addition, we are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on our Services or those on third-party websites. Protecting your personal information is also your responsibility and we urge you to take precautions to protect your personal information. If you have reason to believe that your account or any interaction with us is no longer secure please let us know immediately by contacting customer support or as indicated below in the How to Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
Our retention periods for personal information are based on business needs and legal requirements. We will keep your personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is collected, for other purposes described in the Privacy Policy, or as may be required by applicable law. For example, we may retain certain transaction details and correspondence until the time limit for claims arising from the transaction has expired. In addition, we retain your email address and information about your marketing preferences to ensure that we can honor those preferences. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you Services, we may still retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
10. Notice of Financial Incentive
We offer customers programs that provide certain perks, rewards, or special promotions, such as the Neighbor’s Club Program, Hometown Heroes Program, Affiliate Program, newsletters, discounts, or other similar promotional campaigns (collectively, the “Programs”). When you sign up for one of our Programs, we may ask you to provide your name, contact information (such as email address and/or telephone number), and for some Programs, your birth month and day. Because our Programs involve the collection of personal information, some programs may be interpreted as a “financial incentive” program under California law or a “bona fide loyalty program” under Colorado law. The value to Tractor Supply of your personal information is related to the value of the free or discounted products or services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided to you as part of the Program.
The benefits that we provide to members are reasonably related to the value of the member personal information that we collect. Under the California law, the value of your personal information to us is related to the value of the free or discounted products or services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided as part of the applicable Program, less the expense related to offering those products, services, and benefits to Program participants.

Neighbor’s Club Program: Neighbor’s Club Program members receive exclusive offers and earn at least one (1) point for every one dollar ($1) spent on eligible purchases, with additional points earned for higher membership levels. Points earn rewards that can be spent at Tractor Supply or Petsense. Please refer to our Neighbor’s Club Terms and Conditions for more information about the different earning rates across the different member tier levels, further detail about the specific benefits available to members, and other program requirements.
